Dave Pegg Collectibles and Music Gear Sale

Tull fan favourite, Dave Pegg, a former bassist for Tull and key member of Fairport Convention is selling off a lot of his classic instruments and collectible gear. Here's his pitch:

Hi, it's Peggy here. You may have heard that my wife, Christine, and I are splitting up and it is a very difficult period for both of us.

Thanks for coming out and supporting us on the tour. Its going very well and we are getting very good responses everywhere.

The reason I am putting this new info up on the web site is because of the impending split Chris and I have to sell our house, Woodworms Hilton, and the studio in Oxfordshire. I must stress that none of this will affect this year's Cropredy because Chris is determined to make it the best one ever and we are not sure if it is going to be the last one because of the situation. So please keep August 12th, 13th and 14th free and tell all your friends.

We also have an Aunt Sally game, a wonderful game indigenous to Oxfordshire. You throw wooden sticks at a wooden doll.

There are many Cropredy programmes for the years 1990, 88, 93, 91,86, 99, 2000, 94, 2003, 97, 89, 84 and 85.

Dave also has an Ashdown bass guitar amp which is the one he uses at Cropredy. It is in a wooden flight case. Some unusual Fairport posters from Sebastapol Celtic Festival, California, 2000 Turkey concert, the Lyric Theatre Hong Kong from 1992 and a couple of reproduction ones Bath festival 1970 and Led Zeppelin 1979 reproduction. Fairport Convention/Waterson Carthy at Festival Hall, Fairport Convention at The Albert Hall, Faiprot original oil painting for Gladys's Leap. Set of Slazinger golf clubs and an archery target and net if anyone is interested.
